The mission of the United Yorkie Rescue is: To help the most needy and homeless Yorkie dogs as they are brought into the rescue, by adopting them, or by providing them with a loving home where they can live out their lives. We provide care, shelter, education, foster and adopt out the dogs to those who need them, or to those who have the means to adopt a dog.
We are part of a nationwide organization of rescue dogs, founded in 1977. Our mission is to help abused and neglected dogs, through our services and resources.
The United Yorkie Rescue believes in giving dogs the best of care, whether it be foster care adoption, pet adoption, or adoption of dogs for foster care. Our emphasis is on finding loving, responsible loving families, who will love and care for the Yorkshire Terrier.
Our mission is to improve the lives of the Yorkies by helping them grow up and live a long healthy, happy life, so that they will not only find homes with loving and responsible owners, but that they will become a part of the Yorkie rescue, and the larger Yorkie rescue community. We work diligently to make our mission and goals a reality. The goal of the Yorkie rescue is to foster healthy, happy, independent and responsible Yorkies.
The United Yorkie Rescue is committed to working with dogs of all ages. We do not discriminate against any dog breed, as we consider them all to be part of the same family. Our goal is to work with the dog owner, the Yorkie rescue group, the state dog warden and foster home agencies, veterinarians, shelters and other organizations.
The Yorkie rescue is a registered non-profit organization. We are committed to using every legal way in which we can to foster and support Yorkshire Terrier rescue. We are also committed to helping the Yorkie get the love and attention they deserve, while providing them with the best of care and attention that they may need. We take pride in being a part of a wonderful group of people who work together to solve the problems of dog adoption and help dogs find loving homes. We want our efforts to be helpful to the dog lover, the Yorkie owner, the Yorkshire Terrier rescue group and the general dog loving public.
Yorkie rescue members are dedicated to using our experience and resources to find loving homes for the Yorkshire Terrier that has been abused or neglected, as well as those that have been abandoned or taken from their owners due to death or neglect. We also take special care to ensure that the Yorkie that comes into our group of rescue homes has had he or she been spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is essential to reducing the chances of the dog having a serious health problem.
The Yorkshire Terrier rescue believes that you must work with your Yorkie rescue group and staff to provide a healthy environment for them so that they will have a good quality of life in which to live for a long time. Our goal is to provide the best of veterinary care, with the highest quality of home and the very best of human interaction. Your Yorkie rescue group will work closely with you to determine what is needed to give your Yorkie the care and attention that it needs. In return, we hope that you will do your part in making their life as happy and successful as possible.
Our Yorkie rescue group welcomes the adoption of any Yorkie, regardless of the breed. There are certain requirements that must be met in order for you to be considered an ideal candidate for adopting a Yorkie. We will require you to meet the minimum qualifications set forth in the Yorkie Club of America (YCA) criteria for Yorkie breeding, as well as a C.V from the American Kennel Club (AKC).
The Yorkie rescue group will be most interested in finding an ideal match for your Yorkie and providing them with the right type of environment that they will thrive in. Although the Yorkie is a small dog, they are extremely intelligent and have great memories. so if your Yorkie will be placed in a friendly environment where they will get plenty of human interaction, your Yorkie will enjoy a more fulfilling life.
If you are looking for a loving Yorkie to bring into your home, the Yorkie rescue group is the perfect place to start. We will work with you and your local vet to determine the type of Yorkie that will be the best match for your home. This is not only in your best interest but is also in the best interest of the Yorkie in our group.
